Crowds flood to Hanoi’s leisure facilities for national holidays

VOV.VN - There is a sharp increase of number of people traveling to Hanoi from neighbouring areas to enjoy the city’s entertainment activities on the national holidays for Reunification Day (April 30) and May Day (May 1).

On April 29, a large number of tourists visited recreational attractions around Hanoi including the pedestrian street around Hoan Kiem (Sword) Lake, Thu Le Zoo, and Thong Nhat Park.
Thu Le Zoo is crowded from early in the morning.
Thu Le Zoo’s fun attractions, like bumper-cars, are at full capacity so guests must wait 15-20 minutes for a go.
Pedal boats are everywhere on the lake at Thu Le Zoo.
Ho Tay (West Lake) Water Park operates at full capacity. Leaders of the park predict it will receive total 6,000-8,000 arrivals over the national holidays.
Many young people are excited by the thrilling games.
The park’s pool is full of people bobbing around on inflatable tubes.
Visitors get carried away with hilarious games.
Traffic queues up on the way to the entrance of Thu Le Zoo. Most visitors have travelled from areas neighbouring Hanoi, including Haiphong, Hung Yen, Vinh Phuc, and Phuc Tho.
