Singapore People’s Association visits Hanoi
(VOV) - A delegation from the Singaporean People’s Association led by its Chief Executive Director Ang Hak Seng worked with the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Hanoi Chapter on October 31.
VFF Hanoi Chairman Dao Van Binh briefed the guests on the front’s programmes and activities over the year which, he said have helped reinforce solidarity in residential areas and popularized the Party and State’s policies, guidelines and laws to people.
Ang Hak Seng expressed desire to increase cooperation with the capital city, adding that both sides should exchange experience in encouraging people to comply with the law, launching campaigns for a civilised lifestyle and overcoming difficulties caused by natural disasters.
He also praised the municipal front’s role in promoting people’s right to mastery and helping them become involved in supervising the authority’s activities.
