Germany’s dual training programme enrolls Vietnamese students
The College of Business Administration for Managers (CBAM) and SBH, a non-governmental education corporation from Germany, began enrolling students for a dual training programme specializing in restaurant and hotel services in Ho Chi Minh City on May 10.
The programme is designed for Vietnamese youngsters aged between 18 and 27, who want to pursue education in Germany.
CBAM Rector Do Thi Kim Lien said the programme provides practical knowledge and skills for students.
In the context of the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0), human resources with high skills and qualifications have become an urgent need of most Vietnamese enterprises, she said.
Therefore, the German’s dual training programme has attracted a lot of attention from students and their parents.
Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Vu Tien Loc said the programme enables students to access to the world’s biggest economies including Germany.
After graduation, students are guaranteed to get jobs at international restaurants, hotels and high-end resort areas in Germany.
Particularly, students will be allowed to work legally and reside in the long run in Germany, enjoying incomes and preferential treatments like German citizens.
On the occasion, CBAM presented 200 bicycles worth over VND340 million (almost US$15,000) to poor students from the northern province of Phu Tho.
