NA Standing Committee convenes for 47th session

The participants discussed the promulgation of a resolution on regulations and working conditions of members of People’s Councils, the report by the Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court on costumes and licenses of the Judge of the People’s Court and salary and allowance for staff of the People’s Court. 

The NA Standing Committee also contributed ideas to draft resolutions on classifying administrative units, the resolution on standards and the adjustment of administrative boundaries of administrative units, and resolution on administrative classification of urban areas.

The Committee reviewed the outcome of the 11th session of the 13th National Assembly and discussed preparations for the first session of the 14th National Assembly. 

It is expected to approve the appointment of Vietnamese ambassadors for the 2016-2019 term to several countries.
