Top 30 Miss Vietnam southern contestants take martial arts training
VOV.VN - Thirty exceptional contestants in the southern region of the Miss Vietnam 2018 pageant visited Tay Son-Tam Kiet (Three Great Heroes in Tay Son) Temple in the south central coastal province of Binh Dinh on June 18 and received training in martial arts.
The visit is one of the activities for the final round of the southern region. |

Tay Son-Tam Kiet Temple worships three heroes, Nguyen Nhac, Nguyen Hue and Nguyen Lu. King Quang Trung (Nguyen Hue) and his troops defeated the Qing invaders to liberate Thang Long (now Hanoi) in 1789. |
The temple has recognized as special national relic site. |
Contestants listen to stories related to Quang Trung Museum, learning the history of the 300-year-old tree, ancient well, and old architecture of the relic site. |
They watch a Tay Son martial arts performance. |
Contestants are trained in martial arts by Le Xuan Nam and Ho Sy. |
They look strong and healthy in their martial arts uniforms. |
They learn the basic exercises. |
The martial arts training lasts several hours and is a new experience for many of the contestants. |
