Day two: Lao Party and State leader in Vietnam
VOV.VN - General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and President of Laos Bounnhang Vorachith on December 20 had special meetings during the second day of his trip to Vietnam.

The top Lao leader meets with former Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts in Laos and the two countries’ young generations in Hanoi. |

The meeting sees the attendance of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Party and State leaders of both nations, 260 delegates representing tens of thousands of former Vietnamese volunteers and military experts in Laos and more than 250 young people. |

Prior to the meeting, Trong and and his Lao guest visit an exhibition featuring Vietnam-Laos relations. |

Meeting with President Tran Dai Quang, Mr Vorachith affirms that the Party, State and people of Laos will work hand in hand with the Vietnamese side to strengthen the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam. |

Despite the conclusion of Vietnam-Laos Friendship Year 2017, more cooperation activities, especially those aiming to educate young people of the two countries about the special solidarity will be planned, says Mr Vorachith. |
