All four Vietnamese students won prizes at the 17th International Mathematics Competition (IMC) for University Students held in Blagoevgrad city, Bulgaria, on July 25-26.
Trieu Quang Phong, Trinh Phuong Thu and Hoang Duc Trung received second prizes while Doan Nguyen Nhut took the third prize. They all come from Hanoi University of Science under Vietnam National University.
Vietnam ranked 16th out of 94 universities from 44 participating countries, with a total of 176 points.
