Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and Da Nang have the most businesses registered for the award.

The annual event is co-organised by the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment and the Vietnam Association for Nature and Environmental Protection.

The award is for businesses who strictly abide by all environmental protection laws and have greatly contributed to environmental protection.

The businesses should apply effective, clean and energy-saving technology in their production.

The deadline for registration is on September 20 and the award ceremony is scheduled to take place at the end of October in Hanoi.
