HCM City hosts Japan Festival 2014

(VOV) -The 2014 edition of the Japan Festival kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City on November 15 gathering the participation of more than 50 participating enterprises from the education, tourism, culinary and trading sectors of the two nations.

Prominent figures attending the event included Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Fukuda Hiroshi and Vietnam Deputy Foreign Minister Ho Xuan Son

It is hoped the festival, organized by the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Alliance, would  deepen mutual understanding between the two countries and provide a boost to education and trade cooperation.

Many cultural exchange activities have been planned to transpire during two-day event, such as a Cosplay performance and Japanese traditional dance.
