Cam Le triumphs at int’l women’s cycling tournament
(VOV) - Cyclist Cao Thi Cam Le has finished the final day of the Binh Duong International Women’s Cycling Tournament (Biwase Cup) wearing the yellow leader’s jersey.
Her March 8 victory, a result of points accumulated in previous rounds, earned her a golden cup and a cash prize worth VND30 million.
Gao Vinh Binh An Giang’s Nguyen Thi That came second, receiving the blue jersey.
Domesco-Dong Thap 1 won the teams’ category, followed by Gao Vinh Binh An Giang in second and Binh Duong Water-Supply Environment in third.
The tournament’s only foreign team, representing Malaysia, rounded out the top four.
The Biwase Cup celebrates both International Women’s Day (March 8) and Vietnam Sports Day (March 27).
