Vietnam NA Chair arrives in Sweden

VOV.VN - National Assembly Chair Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has arrived at the Arlanda International Airport in Stockholm to begin an official visit at the invitation of Speaker of the Swedish Parliament (Riskdag) Urban Ahlin. 

Ms Ngan will visit the European countries of Sweden, Hungary and the Czech Republic over the 9-day period April 6-14, aiming to foster bilateral ties in a host of fields, especially in legislative cooperation.  

Upon her arrival, Ms Ngan received a warm welcome from Swedish royalty and dignitaries, Vietnam Ambassador Nguyen Thi Phuong Dung and a large number of Overseas Vietnamese residing and working in the Scandinavian country.

This is the first visit of a Vietnam National Assembly head to Sweden in 24 years.
