As of November, transport vehicles from Vietnam and China will be allowed to pass through the border area between Huu Nghi (Friendship) gate in Vietnam’s Lang Son province and Pengqiang gate in China’s Guangxi province.
A preliminary agreement to the effect has just been signed between transport management agencies at the border areas of the two countries in Pengqiang City.
According to the Chinese People’s Daily newspaper, Vietnamese trucks will be permitted to freely move inside the China – ASEAN free trade logistical centre in Pengqiang, while Chinese trucks can enter the Dong Dang logistical centre in Lang Son.
