The An Khanh high-grade ecotourism project in the northern province of Ha Tay has been put into operation to meet the increasing demand during the upcoming Lunar New Year Festival.

Built at a cost of VND800 billion (US$50 million) by the Bao Son Tourism and Construction Investment SJC, the 15.4ha project includes a craft village, a culinary area, an oceanic area, a bonsai garden and an outdoor creational centre.

Over the past two days, the site has attracted thousands of visitors, many of them are overseas Vietnamese who returned to the home country for Tet.
