Olympic team gears up for SEA Games
(VOV) -The Vietnam Olympic football squad will play a series of friendly matches with Indonesia and Uzbekistan in March in preparation for upcoming tournament play including the 28th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 28).
The team will square off with Indonesia on March 9 and Uzbekistan on March 14.
The Uzbekistan Olympic team has been ranked 4th in Asia in the latest FIFA rankings.
At present, Coach Toshyia Miura has chosen the best players for the team and he is banking on U19 football players such as Cong Phuong, Tuan Anh and Xuan Truong for success at the SEA and other upcoming tournaments.
