A group of doctors from the University of Liege, Belgium, will come to conduct a number of heart operations surgeries and kidney transplants at the People's Hospital 115 in Ho Chi Minh City from May 12-25.

This is part of the cooperation programme between the Centre Hospital-University (CHU) of Liege and the HCM City-based People's Hospital 115.

Doctors from Liege will also attend a seminar on cardiovascular diseases in HCM City from May 24-25.

Before their departure for Vietnam, Prof. Natzi Sakalihassan, a heart surgeon, said that he and his fellow-workers are keen to exchange experience with Vietnamese colleagues during their first visit to Vietnam.
