The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) has launched a campaign in Hanoi to drum up support for the victims of tropical storm Ketsana.

Speaking at the launch ceremony on October 1, the VFF President Huynh Dam called on the Vietnamese people as well as foreigners and foreign organizations to help storm victims stabilize their daily lives and restore their livelihoods.

The VFF is receiving relief donations for the flood victims at its head office at 46 Trang Thi, Hanoi.

The storm has left 93 people dead, 18 missing and 200 injured in Vietnam so far.
