500 Lao war veterans will have free cataract surgery from Ho Chi Minh City’s Long Thanh Golf Investment and Business Joint Stock Company.

General Director of the Long Thanh Golf Investment and Business Joint Stock Company Le Van Kiem gave donations to the Lao Consulate General in the city on May 23.

The company also provided US$25,000 to help build houses for Lao war veterans who are living in poor conditions.

The donations were made through the Ho Chi Minh City Association in Support of Poor Patients and the Ho Chi Minh City Association of War Veterans.
