A 20,000m2 complex in commemoration of the late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong was inaugurated in Duc Tan Commune, Mo Duc District of the central province of Quang Ngai on September 1.

Mr Dong, who was born in Mo Duc district, Quang Ngai, is an excellent disciple of President Ho Chi Minh, a steadfast communist, a prestigious leader of the Communist Party and State, and an internationally acclaimed politician and diplomat.

The complex, built in three years, has two main zones, which display over 150 photos, 300 memorabilia and documents featuring the revolutionary life of the late prime minister from as early as 1936.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong said that the complex not only shows great gratitude of the Party, State and people to Mr Dong but also serves as a venue for educating young generations in revolutionary traditions.

The Chairman earlier paid visits to some local families which rendered great services to the Vietnamese nation.
