Vinatuna aims to establish cooperation among its members to improve the production efficiency and protect the legal rights of members in fishing, doing business and processing tuna nationwide.

Vintuna members set target to catch 15,000 tonnes of oceanic tuna and 80,000 tonnes of other kinds and make use of 120,000 tonnes, including those from imports in 2011.

By 2015, Vinatuna plans to double the amount of tuna fishing in the ocean in 2011.
