The VN-Index at the Ho Chi Minh City Securities Trading Centre on April 11 closed at 1,034.68 points, down 4.99 points. There were more than 4.26 million shares traded with a total value of VND483 billion.
At the HCM City Securities Trading Centre, 23 share prices went up, 64 declined and 22 others remained the same. BMC topped the five strongest share register , reaching VND551,000 per share.
At the Hanoi Securities Trading Centre, the HaSTC-Index slightly fell by 0.36 points to 404.81 points. Around 1 million shares were traded with a total value of more than VND143.7 billion.
According to securities experts, many investors have withdrawn from the market due to its abnormal development. However, the securities market still holds attraction.
