1,500 runners to join Hanoi Moi Run
(VOV) -Organizers have unveiled at a press conference that more than 1,500 runners have registered for the final round of the 42nd annual Hanoi Moi Run for Peace set for October 4 at Hoan Kiem Lake.
The participants come from 82 teams nationwide and include nearly 350 foreigners and 200 professional Vietnamese runners said the organizers.

The event aims to celebrate the 70th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day and the 61st anniversary of Capital Liberation Day.
Since its launch, the tournament has drawn the participation of more than 30,000 in the qualifying rounds, making it the largest event of its type.
The event will broadcast live at 7:00 am on Vietnam television VTV6.
