A photo exhibition on the Truong Sa Spratly Islands opened at 16 Ngo Quyen Street in Hanoi on September 21.

The exhibition showcases more than 60 pictures of people in Truong Sa, including painters from the Vietnam Fine Arts Association (VFAA), such as Phan Oanh, Dao Chau Hai, Ly Truc Son, Le Van Nhuong, and Tran Nguyen Hieu as well as soldiers and young people who were born and raised on the islands.

These pictures will help visitors gain a better understanding of the Truong Sa Islands.

Sculptor Dao Chau Hai said the VFAA is calling upon organisations and individuals to set up a cultural fund which will help soldiers and children in the Truong Sa islands have a better life.
