A seminar on promoting work culture for sustainable employment was co-organised by the Vietnam Vocational Training Association and the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) on December 17 in HCM City.

The event attracted scientists, researchers and teachers from vocational schools in the southern provinces.

The participants said that during the process of industrialization and modernization, and international integration, work culture is one of the factors that increase employee quality and prestige, and promote sustainable employment.

The work culture includes the employee's skills, labour discipline implementation, and good relationship between employee and their bosses. These create a friendly working environment, limit disputes and benefiting both worker and business in general.

The Vietnam Vocational Training Association will implement its programme of promoting work culture for sustainable employment at four vocational training centres to develop skilled workers in the future.

Chairwoman of the Vietnam Vocational Training Association, Nguyen Thi Hang, said the focus will be a work culture and business background in training, including improving knowledge of economic, culture and social issues.
