Gold prices sharply increased on the domestic market on June 4. SJC Gold was priced at VND13.07-13.08 million per tael, an increase of VND200,000 from the previous month.
Experts attribute the rise to an increase in world gold prices.
Meanwhile, the Bank for Foreign Trade announced that the exchange rate of VND to US$ hit 16,096 on June 4, the highest level in the past six months.
