PM to meet up with business-owners

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will assert the role of domestic firms as a driver behind economic growth through his upcoming meeting with entrepreneurs nationwide.

The Prime Minister’s April 29 conference will affirm the Government’s optimal support for start-up movement.

It is expected to clear existing obstacles facing enterprises and discuss how to develop firms in both quantity and quality.

In the lead-up to the conference, ministries and the municipal and provincial People’s Committees were asked to report the progress of removing business hindrances to the Ministry of Planning and Investment and the Government Office.

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) was requested to report an overview of business operations nationwide and craft solutions to creating a favourable, healthy and fair business environment, which will be also submitted to the ministries, municipal and provincial authorities and the Government Office.

The Chairmen of the Hanoi municipal People’s Committee and the Ho Chi Minh municipal People’s Committee are due to sign an agreement with the VCCI under the witness of the PM, with a view to offering better business climate.
