The first official Apple store in Vietnam opened in HCM City early this month.

The outlet, operated by FPT Distribution Company, is the first of six Apple stores scheduled to open in HCM City and Hanoi this year.

The US-based Apple Company has approved the store’s design and technicians. Apple products in the store, including laptop and desktop computers, large LCD screens, Mp3 players and iPods will be offered with one-year international guarantees.

During the shop’s first month of operation, customers will receive a free iPod with any Apple computer purchased.
