Dieu Ngoc visits children academy

VOV.VN -Vietnamese representative Truong Dieu Ngoc and other Miss World 2016 contestants have inspired at-risk youth, especially children of incarcerated parents, during their visit to the US Dream Academy in Washington, D.C.  

The US Dream Academy is an innovative national after-school and mentoring programme that helps young people realize their dreams. 
Ngoc presents a Vietnamese postcard to a little boy.
The boy, in turn draws a picture of Ngoc and presents it to her.

After the visit, Ngoc and other contestants join a closed-door interview for the preliminaries in Washington D.C.

The results of the closed-door interview is part of criteria for selecting semi-finalists in the world’s longest-running beauty pageant.

Ngoc also show off her skills at a cooking contest.
