The Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) on August 27 contributed VND300 million to the Vietnam Red Cross (VRC) to aid flood victims in northern mountainous provinces.

The VRC has so far provided nearly VND2.9 billion in relief for flood victims in the northern region.

Of the sum, nearly VND2.2 billion sourced from the VRC’s fundings while the rest came from individuals and organisations inside and outside the country.
