Ambassador Nguyen Duy Hung sent best wishes to Vietnamese residents in Thailand and hoped that they will continue to contribute to developing their homeland.

Mr Hung emphasised that despite a number of difficulties in 2009, the Vietnamese community in Thailand had achieved certain results. The embassy and other agencies had played an active part in strengthening ties of friendship and co-operation between the two countries.
