Bui Duc Thang, 12th grader from the Le Quy Don high school in central Da Nang City, has bagged a silver medal at the eighth Asian Physics Olympiad, which took place in China from April 20-29.
Two bronze medals went to Do Hoang Anh, 11th grader from a high school of the Natural Sciences College under the Hanoi National University, and Dinh Dang Duc, 12th grader from a high school in northern Nam Dinh province.
In the previous Asian Physics Olympiad in Kazakhstan, Vietnam gained one silver, three bronzes, and one consolation prize.
