Vietnam, Laos social sciences institutes strengthen cooperation
(VOV) - Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS), held a working session with his counterpart, Dr. Thongxalit Manomek from the Lao National Institute of Social Sciences on October 31.
They reviewed the results of bilateral cooperation over the years and discussed proposals for green growth in the Mekong Sub region as well as sustainable growth in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
The two sides highly appreciated effective cooperation in training staff for the Lao National Institute of Social Sciences.
They pledged to go ahead with joint research projects for the benefit of special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
