Vinh University makes volunteering in Laos a learning experience
VOV.VN - Vinh University in Central Nghe An Province is helping its young students better understand the world around them through life changing volunteer experiences in Laos this summer that will redefine the way they see the world.

For almost a month (July 6-30) the students will teach the Vietnamese language and computing to prospective students in Laos who are considering continuing their post-secondary education at colleges and universities in Vietnam.
All told, said the officials, more than 600 students have signed up to volunteer in Laos this summer and they have divided the volunteers into roughly 30 groups.
The groups will get involved in a wide array of activities throughout Laos this summer, the officials added, everything from projects involving environment protection to agriculture to helping disadvantaged youth.
