Three Indonesian sailors return home

Raihan Khumaini, a representative from the Indonesian Embassy in Vietnam, on May 11 received and took the necessary procedures to send three Indonesian sailors rescued by Vietnamese fishermen home.

They are Mamri Marawat Napitupulu, Sholehuddin and Supardi.

Earlier, a Vietnamese fisherman had saved seven foreign sailors, including three Indonesians, two Bangladeshis and two Malaysians, who were adrift about 300 nautical miles off Vung Tau City.

Currently, relevant authorities are working with the Bangladeshi and Malaysian embassies to help the four remaining to return home.
