The Vietnamese auditor joined regional groups’ discussions and plenary meetings, and proposed INCOSAI organise research and working groups.

During the congress Vietnam suggested common solutions to public debts’ management and auditing activities, as well as increasing auditors’ professional knowledge and enhancing the exchange of experiences and cooperation among INCOSAI members. Vietnam also proposed groups of nations based on socio-economic conditions set up a system of national indexes to match with each country’s conditions.

State Auditor General Hue exchanged auditing expertise and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation during his direct meetings with counterparts from INCOSAI member nations, including China, Cambodia, Brunei, Denmark, Ukraine, Belarus, Bulgaria and the UK.

A Vietnamese delegation will attend a workshop on the State Agency’s role and challenges in the 21st century to be jointly held by the US State Audit Agency and the World Bank in Washington from November 13-16.
