The congress adopted measures to boost the efficiency of its work for the 2007-12 term, focusing on diversifying its activities with more practical approach.

Through its activities over the past years, including friendship meetings and exchanges of delegations and information, the association has helped boost the mutual understanding between people of the two countries and provide Vietnamese businesses with better information about the Mongolian market.

The congress elected the new executive committee for the six-year term, which is chaired by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Ho Xuan Hung.
