Hanoi attracted 32 foreign-invested projects in the first quarter of this year with total registered investment of approximately US$482 million, fulfilling 19 percent and 35 percent of the year’s set targets in terms of project numbers and registered investment, respectively.

 

In the first three months, total social investment reached VND6,350 billion, up 10.8 percent over the same period last year. Of the figure, VND5,300 billion was in domestic-funded projects, accounting for 83.5 percent. State investment rose by 10 percent, while non-State sector investment increased by 16.7 percent.
