World’s top billiards players are coming to Binh Duong
(VOV) - Jae Ho Cho from the Republic of Korea (RoK) and currently ranked No 6 in the world will play in the upcoming sixth annual International Three-Cushion Carom Billiards Tournament, July 24-27, at the Lucky Square Convention Hall in Thu Dau Mot City.
All told, 64 world-class players from Vietnam, Japan and the RoK are on the roster for the tournament, a representative of the organizing board unveiled at a July 21 press conference.
Total cash prizes for the tournament are VND150 million including VND50 million for first place, VND25 million for second and VND10 million for overall best performance during tournament play.
This year’s – BTV-Becamex IJC Cup – is sponsored by Binh Duong Television (BTV) in collaboration with the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
