A man and a woman of unknown nationalities died when gunmen driving by opened fire on their car near the DHL courier office, the official said.

One Afghan guard was also killed and two were wounded, the official said.

Earlier this week a woman with dual UK-South African citizenship was shot dead on her motorbike in Kabul. Gayle Williams, 34, was working as a relief worker in Afghanistan.
