An additional nine Vietnamese seafood exporters have been licensed to ship their products to the Republic of Korea (RoK), bringing the total number to 323.

The National Fisheries Quality Assurance and Veterinary Directorate under the Ministry of Fisheries confirmed the information and added that the RoK is a large market.

Recent statistics from the ministry showed that exports of aquaculture products to the RoK have so far this year surged by 27 percent as the industry has earned more than US$80 million from exports to the country.
