Culture Festival held in Kiev to catch a glimpse of Vietnam

Addressing the event, Nguyen Phan Hong Hai, Charge d'Affaires ad interim at the Vietnamese embassy in Ukraine highlighted efforts made by Vietnamese students in Kiev in organising the cultural event to introduce Vietnam’s beautiful landscapes, traditional customs and culture as well as its friendly and hospitable people to the people of Kiev and international friends.

Mr Hai underscored the importance of the event, which will help Ukraine people learn more about Vietnam and contribute to developing traditional friendship and all-round cooperation between the two countries.

Diverse activities were held during the one-day event including a photo exhibition displaying the World Heritage sites in Vietnam, the country’s unique cultural characteristics, achievements in the renewal process and traditional handicraft products.

Special art performances by Vietnamese students particularly impressed participants.
