A special live radio programme entitled 24h with 1,000 year old Hanoi broadcast on October 10-11 by Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) to celebrate the capital city’s millennial anniversary.
The event attracted the recorded largest numbers of listeners with around 2,000 people from all parts of the country tuning in through radio and email. They answered many interesting questions related to the capital city.
The programme consisted of 9 themes covering all aspects of Hanoi, including its important role in Vietnam’s history and its contribution to the country’s development and international integration.
Many documents and favorite songs and poems were added to create a diversified audio programme.
