A Vietnamese Government-funded school for overseas Vietnamese was inaugurated in Vientiane on December 14.

The three-storey school was built on an area of 10,37 sq.m at a cost of US$500,000. The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee donated teaching aids worth US$100,000 to the school.

The school will enroll 700 pupils from pre-school to secondary levels in its first school-year.
