VOV’s leaders have welcomed Ms Brenda B.locsin,President of the Philippines Broadcaster Association (Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas-KBP) on October 12 during her seven-day visit to VOV.
B.locsin expressed her happiness at being able to see Hanoi’s 1000th birthday anniversary and visit the National Broadcasting Centre.
She highly praised the development of VOV in recent years. VOV has invested in new broadcasting technology to make its programmes more interesting and current, said the KBP President.
She hopes to boost cooperation between VOV and KBP with the aim of modernizing their radio broadcasts.
VOV’s Deputy General Director Dao Duy Hua thanked the KPB’s compliments to VOV and affirmed that VOV has learnt much from the Philippines.
He also introduced the KBP to VOV’s modern technology in its broadcasting the Traffic Information in Hanoi and HCM City and other programmes.
