Vietnam will participate in the 2008 King’s Cup Sepak Takraw World Championship being held in Bangkok, Thailand on August 25-30.
The championship will draw 30 teams from Thailand, Japan, China, Vietnam and Malaysia.
The Vietnamese team will compete in all six events and are expected to gain medals in the women’s events.
The championship is co-organised by the International Sepak Takraw Federation ISTF and Thailand Sepak Taraw Federation TSA.
