Thoong Phim, Deputy Director General of the Lao radio station, also expressed his pleasure at the presence of VOV in Laos. He said from now on, the two national radio broadcasters will have more opportunity to exchange information and discuss ways to assist each other.

He stressed that he is glad to know that VOV has become a multimedia agency, which sets a good example for the Lao broadcaster, and he promised to cooperate with the VOV bureau in Vientiane to reflect the feelings and thoughts of the Vietnamese community here as well as those of Laotians who used to study and work in Hanoi.

On this occasion, Thoong Him invited VOV to cover the 450^th anniversary of the Lao capital of Vientiane, scheduled for the end of 2010, with the aim of making Vientiane-Champa culture better known to the Vietnamese and world audience.
