An annual football tournament for Vietnamese students in Russia kicked off in Moscow on April 21 to celebrate the anniversary of southern Vietnam’s liberation (April 30), May Day, and President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday (May 19).

This year’s event, which has attracted 1,500 out of 2,000 Vietnamese students in Moscow, will last till May 12.

A tennis tournament is also held for the Vietnamese community in Russia on this occasion.
