FrieslandCampina Vietnam offers milk for children

VOV.VN - FrieslandCampina Vietnam has implemented diverse programs to strengthen children’s right to drink milk and raise their awareness on the importance of nutrients in milk in response to the World Milk Day (June 1, 2017).

The company presented 3,600 glasses of milk to 900 pupils at Binh Khanh Primary School in Can Gio District on May 27 and 3,000 glasses of milk for children to join the festival of lights held by Mathnasium on May 28.

It also offered 40,000 glasses of milk to 20 primary schools (Den Dom Dom schools) built by FrieslandCampina Vietnam.

This year, FrieslandCampina Vietnam focuses on helping children develop healthy eating habits including drinking milk regularly to speed up their growth and physical strength.

Since 2001, the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has chosen June 1 as the World Milk Day to raise public awareness on the importance of milk nutrition.
