Vietnam's national team fought back from a goal deficit to fashion a draw against a dominant Iran in the VTV-T&T Cup final match on Thursday evening to finish third in the international tournament.

Masoud Sojaee put the guest team ahead with a first half goal but Le Hong Minh levelled the game later to give Vietnam the third draw in the tournament.
With five points, Iran won the trophy and pocketed US$40,000.

Australia beat bottom placed Uzbekistan 1-0 in an earlier match on Thursday to seal the second place. Though tied with Iran on five points, Australia lost the cup on goal difference. Australia also drew the home team, who finished the tournament with three draws.

While runners-up Australia received US$20,000, third-placed Vietnam got US$10,000.
