The Vietnam Dairy Product Company (Vinamilk) has won a tender worth almost US$30 million to export infant formula products to Iraq, according to Vinamilk director Mai Kieu Lien. 

Vinamilk expects to increase its export volume, particularly when Vietnam's AFTA commitment comes into force this year. As a result, import tariffs imposed by other ASEAN countries on Vinamilk products will fall to 5 percent from the current 40 percent, Ms Lien added.
