A group of army doctors from Military Zone 7 and the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Chapter gave free medical treatment to 1,367 patients in Cambodia's Kampong Cham province from April 24-28.

The Vietnamese physicians mainly dealt with eye, obstetrical and respiratory diseases. They carried out eye surgery on 193 cataract patients.

During the tour, the delegation also presented gifts to 600 poor patients in Kampon Cham province and raised more than VND2 million for two child patients undergoing treatment in hospital. The medicine and gifts for the Cambodian patients cost nearly VND500 million.
